03 — Launch the business
Create your business, set up your customers, and start operating with PoolSpartan.
The company, the book of pools, and the week on the truck. PoolSpartan is where that company runs once the paper is done.
The order to open in
01
Put the company on paper
The structure your state expects, a tax id, and a name that can go on a bank account and on the side of the work. This is paperwork. It is also the moment the route stops being a favor.
02
Open the company's bank account
Customer money lands in the company's account, not in the account you use for groceries. When PoolSpartan pays you out, this is the account it pays.
03
Put insurance in place
General liability before the first paying stop. If the truck is how you get there, the auto policy has to know you charge for the drive. Check the license question in your state one more time. Rules are not the same everywhere.
04
Create the business in PoolSpartan
Signup is free. There is no card to enter. The account is the company you just formed: the name, the service area, and the way you do a visit.
05
Put the customers in the book
Each pool, the gate note, and the day you service it. Ten names on three streets is a route. Ten names in ten towns is a week of driving.
06
Turn the list into a day
The week shows up on the phone. You run it, or the first person you hire runs it, from that list. The visit has an order. Required steps stay required when someone else is holding the phone.
07
Let new customers find the company
The website comes from the business you already entered. Your plans, the towns you cover, and a way for someone to sign up at 9 at night without calling you off a pool.
08
Send the first invoice
The visit ends. The invoice goes out with the work on it. The payout lands in the bank account from step two. That is the loop. Everything else is you keeping the loop honest.
What it costs while you are small
No monthly software bill, and no card on file. A flat $4.95 on the invoice when a customer is billed. A month with no invoices costs $0. Void the invoice and the fee goes with it.
That is the whole software bill for one truck or for a crew. You are not picking a tier based on how many pools you hope to have.
If you want a person while you set it up, call (888) 598-7665. Already on another system? Same number. The move is free.
